unspooling AFTER DARK episode 21

Reading Chapter Two--entitled "The Parson's Marjory"--of "Will O' the Mill" by Robert Louis Stevenson
1

We’ve heard of Will’s early life and how he once desired to leave the mill one day and follow the steeply descending road next to the river as it winds its way down into the plain of the valley below. We have heard of Will’s abandonment of that once wild and ambitious dream. And now we will hear of his adulthood and of his first encounter with love and true friendship. What kind of man Will is, and what kind of philosophy he ascribes to, becomes increasingly clear in this chapter. And I think it makes for wonderfully entertaining reading.

Enjoy!
