As an artist one must carve out the path that was meant for them and as we do there are long periods of stillness and labouring that are meant to refine our vision and clarify our passion. Good for you, resilience and perseverance are forged in the fire and you have made your way through. I’m very proud of you.
Let’s go! 500 words a day. Have you read the War On Art? I have a feeling you have. Perhaps recently even. Cheering you on. 14,000 words. Right around the point when you’re able to see if you’ve got something or not. Exciting stuff and I’m excited to read a long form mudge on day
And, yes, I have an extremely well-worn copy of The War of Art. I read it every year or two, along with Bird by Bird, On Writing, and Writing Down the Bones, all of which I find exceptional in their own ways.
Stop calling yourself names, unless they are nice ones! 💕😻
Great advice!
